Privacy Statement
1.1 Privacy Statement

This is the privacy statement of the website PeterJockisch.com, from the author, site owner and administrator Peter Jockisch. If you have any (justified) questions, please contact via e-mail to Netzwart@peterjockisch.com or write a letter. Address: Peter Jockisch, Habsburgerstraße 11, 79104 Freiburg i.Br, Germany. PeterJockisch.com contains references (hyperlinks) to external Internet sites. This privacy policy does not apply to these external websites and their contents.

1.2. Webpage Hosting

PeterJockisch.com and all other websites of Peter Jockisch are hosted on web servers of the company Hetzner Online AG (Gunzenhausen, Germany).

1.3 Collection of statistical data on page visits to PeterJockisch.com

When a website is visited or a file is retrieved, data on the page visits is collected on the web server via the HTTP protocol. This is done in non-personal form, in a way that excludes the assignment to a natural person: IP addresses of page visitors are generally not stored, only a pseudonymized IP address is used for statistics report preparation, where an IP address part was previously exchanged.

The statistics data collected include, for example: The type of browser, the operating system under which the request was made, the names of the requested files, the time of the request, and the URL of the referring web page.

This data evaluation is carried out exclusively for statistical purposes. It is not passed on to third parties and is not linked to other data.

1.4 No newsletter dispatch, update notifications only via RSS

As a matter of principle, PeterJockisch.com does not send out e-newsletters or newsletters, not even via external service providers. Update notifications are only available via the site's own RSS news ticker (introduction), which does not require an e-mail address.

1.5 No collection and no use of personal data

PeterJockisch.com publishes articles and books by Peter Jockisch as well as accompanying information. All content is 100 % free of charge and directly readable.

The only possible personal data that could be collected on PeterJockisch.com would arise in the context of a possible e-mail request from site visitors (sender e-mail address). Such data is not further processed, not linked with other data and not passed on to third parties.

An exception to this would only exist if “authorities” were to assert a legally justified right to information and PeterJockisch.com were to be legally obligated to disclose personal data to “governmental” agencies upon “official” order; “governmental” in quotation marks, as everything is currently still 100% company and de facto subject to maritime commercial law.

E-mails are stored exclusively in the context of e-mail correspondence archiving in compliance with the law.

Mandatory note: If data processing were to take place, the legal basis for this would be Article 6 of the GDPR.

1.6 No use of cookies

A cookie is a text file or data record that is stored on the local computer of an Internet user. It enables websites to determine, among other things, whether the user has already visited the site in the past. Browsers usually store cookies and so-called supercookies (local shared objects, LSOs) by default. You can prevent the storage by a corresponding setting in your program.

PeterJockisch.com does not use cookies or supercookies.

1.7 No use of external scripts

PeterJockisch.com does not integrate external script programs or services of third party websites, such as embedded videos of video portals or similar services, which mostly work script-based. Only classic references (hyperlinks) are used for internal and external links.

Some links to Youtube videos contain a preview image as it would appear if the video were embedded in the page. However, there is no script behind it, it is just an image that leads to the corresponding Youtube video page.

1.8 Legally required reference to the right to information

PeterJockisch.com does not collect and use personal data. However, the following notice is mandatory: You have the right to request information about your stored personal data at any time. This also includes the origin and recipient of your data, as well as the purpose of the data processing. You can request the deletion of your data at any time, if personal data is involved. You can revoke an already given consent to the use or processing of personal data at any time.

Please address any further requests in writing by e-mail to Netzwart@peterjockisch.com or by conventional mail to Peter Jockisch, Habsburgerstraße 11, 79104 Freiburg i.Br, Germany.

However, unauthorized as well as already (implicitly) answered questions will not be answered.
